Na ocasi\u00e3o, atrav\u00e9s da &#8216;Mo\u00e7\u00e3o de Aplauso n\u00ba 004\/2013, o comandante da unidade, o major Afonso Ant\u00f4nio Galv\u00e3o, foi homenageado. Os autores da propositura \u0096 que foi aprovada por unanimidade \u0096 foram os vereadores Vidal de Negreiros e Manoel Lopes (Manoelzinho).<\/p>\n<p>A mo\u00e7\u00e3o de aplauso se deu em virtude da instala\u00e7\u00e3o de postos comunit\u00e1rios da Patrulha Rural nos distritos de Santa Luzia e Serra dos Brand\u00f5es, que resultaram na redu\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00edndices criminais, principalmente dos Crimes Violentos contra o Patrim\u00f4nio (CVP) nos munic\u00edpios citados.<\/p>\n<p>Na audi\u00eancia tamb\u00e9m foram discutidos assuntos diversos ligados \u00e0 \u00e1rea da seguran\u00e7a p\u00fablica de todo o compartimento do Curimatau Paraibano, al\u00e9m dos avan\u00e7os alcan\u00e7ados pela unidade militar ao longo dos \u00faltimos anos como: a chegada de novos armentos, viaturas, efetivo, coletes bal\u00edsticos, equipamentos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o individuais (EPIs) e pistolas Taser.<\/p>\n<p>Durante o evento, que contou com a presen\u00e7a do presidente da C\u00e2mara Municipal local, o vereador Ata\u00edde Dantas Xavier, o Major Galv\u00e3o exp\u00f4s estat\u00edsticas referentes aos bons resultados obtidos em toda \u00e1rea circunscricional do 9\u00ba BPM, bem como foram abordados temas como: Pol\u00edcia Comunit\u00e1ria, parcerias mantidas com a prefeitura de Picu\u00ed, integra\u00e7\u00e3o com a Pol\u00edcia Civil, a boa rela\u00e7\u00e3o mantida com o Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico e com os Conselhos Tutelares.<\/p>\n<p>O homenageado agradeceu o convite para a audi\u00eancia que foi feito pelos vereadores Ata\u00edde e Manoelzinho. \u0093Divido a comenda com os integrantes das Pol\u00edcias Militar e Civil.
