Escudo peninsular portugu\u00eas, chefe com dois campos, em faixa, o superior de goles e o inferior de sable, contendo a inscri\u00e7\u00e3o \u201cROTAM\u201d, em ouro, cosida de sable; cortado, o primeiro de prata, no flanco direito um par de bucaneiras (garruchas) em aspa, de ouro, cosidas de sable, partido, no flanco esquerdo uma \u00e1guia, na sua cor, exibida com cabe\u00e7a \u00e0 sinistra, asas invertidas e l\u00edngua protusa em goles, nas suas garras uma serpente em sinopla, sobreposta por um escudete, de sable, e bordadura de gray, com um raio no centro, de ouro, cosido de sable; o segundo de prata, xadrezado de sable, no centro um motociclista sobre asas estendidas, tendo como suporte uma coroa de louros, de ouro e cosidos de sable.<\/p>\n

Simbologia e alus\u00e3o das pe\u00e7as:<\/h5>\n

  • As bucaneiras (garruchas) representam a Pol\u00edcia Militar, Institui\u00e7\u00e3o da qual fazem parte os integrantes do ROTAM;<\/li>\n
  • A \u00e1guia, s\u00edmbolo de for\u00e7a, coragem e longevidade, tem em suas garras uma serpente, que juntas representam a vit\u00f3ria do bem sobre o mal;<\/li>\n
  • O escudo e o raio representam a honra do Regimento e a agilidade e rapidez de suas a\u00e7\u00f5es; e<\/li>\n
  • O xadrezado e o motociclista sobre asas simbolizam a estrat\u00e9gia, o racioc\u00ednio e a antecipa\u00e7\u00e3o de a\u00e7\u00f5es nas atividades do Regimento em defesa da sociedade e da manuten\u00e7\u00e3o da ordem p\u00fablica.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
